It's a little more expensive than lunch, but it's delicious.
With the name Melrose, Rycom's Plaza House Opened on the first floor. Enjoy the old Rose Garden cake.
I only go in the morning so I do not know
One of my favorite breakfast restaurants in Okinawa. Great and friendly staff. The menu offers a variety of delicious foods. The price is reasonable. We often take visitors when we're looking for a place to enjoy a meal.
1st time customers. Wonderful meals. Large portions, too much to finish. Wonderful menu choices ;)
I came in the late morning on a weekend so the place was packed but the wait time for food was not long. Everything I inquired on the menu was unavailable. What I ordered tasted average, average portion at average price. Parking is on the smaller side.
Food is ok, serve is good.
Food: decent.Ambiance and decor: out dated, old, dirty, and cluttered. It's like walking into your messy grandmother's house with furniture from her prime.
This place is really good! They were very patient with us and our 4 young kids.
Amazing place for steaks
Amazing! If you want a delicious home style breakfast this is the place! Most Restaurants in Oki barely cook the bacon and they actually made it nice and crispy! I got the waffle and scrambled eggs and ate it all before I thought to take a pic for this. I've heard they also have great dinner options too so I will have to go back to try it out another time. Definitely recommend.
Wonderful food and great service.
The Rose Garden was fantastic. My first trip. Parking is a little tight, but the parking attendant was courteous and efficient. The food was fantastic. We all ordered the Eggs Benedict as it is reportedly the best in town. It did not disappoint. The ham is thick cut and the portions did not disappoint. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection with the choice of light, medium, or hard. Medium was exactly what you'd expect from a typical poached egg. The English muffins are made fresh with just the toughness that you'd expect as well. A very typical eggs Benedict, but very well executed. The home made sausage was very light with an almost veal tenderness. Light on the spices with a rosemary finish. Service was excellent. The restaurant is not very large, so expect a wait during peak times or make reservations. I will come here again. More than once I imagine.
the best American cuisine I ever try, even better than mainland.
This is probably the most "classically" American diner I've been to on Okinawa so far. Food wise, it's comparable to Cracker Barrell, or any other small town diner where the coffee is too strong to be pretentious and the waitress always calls you hon. Overall it's a great experience with friendly and mostly English proficient staff. My one criticism is that it is a little expensive for the amount of food you get. That said, you can order a slice of bacon a half an inch thick, which is amazing. I recommend this place.
I have heard for years about this place and how good it was. I had also heard it was a bit expensive. I went for breakfast and got the spicy sausage omelette. It was HUGE. Flavor was just "okay" but I was definitely full. My girl's plate had some bacon, two eggs, some potato pieces, and a slice of French Toast for around $15.00. That's a bit expensive for my liking. I could have easily made a comparable breakfast at home for both of us for much less. Still, for the size of my meal and price I'll bump it up to 3 stars.
Great food and friendly staff.
Very good food. Excellent meat. On weekends very crowded and reservations not accepted.
The old guard of of Okinawa. Classic and wonderful.
Good food, but unless you have a reservation your gonna be waiting a lil bit because it's a pretty small place.
Not cheap, but fair portion size for the price. However, I felt like drinking oil while eating. Oil was literally dripping from the eggs. Extremely heavy and doesn't taste like quality is there. Will give you stomach ache if you are sensitive to too much fat and oil. Not very enjoyable.Staff was nice.
Hands down one of my favorite breakfast places on the island. Great pancakes, omelets and waffles. I am not a big fan of their French toast but there are many other options.
*Credit card acceptable* Went here for breakfast. The pictures don’t do it justice. The food is delicious and has a mouthful of flavor. Spicy sausage is cooked to perfection and the eggs Benedict is really good. The only thing that prevented me to rate them 5 stars is because it’s a busy restaurant, so they need to hire more waiters/waitresses. I waited a while to get a refill on my coffee.
My wife and I were directed to a back table for two, we waited patiently l, after about 30 minutes of sitting we decided to leave. Never even got to see the menu, so I am unable to speak for their selection or quality of food. Very disappointed in service.
Great American Breakfast! The pancakes were some of the best I've had as well.
I had their best seller eggs Benedict. It was decent but nothing to rave about. Nonetheless, impressive that they home make everything from the hollandaise sauce to the English muffin. My Grandmother has the omelette and I must say that it was superb ! Highly recommend . It was also a big portion and great for sharing. Overall nice place to come and have breakfast and chill. The owner also wrote an autobiography book of his experience as a US military solder in okinawa.
Great comfort food. Cute and quaint. Very kind staff. Eggs Benedict are delicious. Hubby got the omelette, it was okay... We had a great time and plan to go back!
Went for breakfast. Not bad but depends on what you get. Unlimited coffee is nice. Crispy bacon is awesome and hard to find in Japan. Eggs benedict was great even though I had to slide the ham off I did not want. No option for bacon:(. French toast was okay. Would not order it again. Would come back for the eggs and benedict and bacon.
The food is excellent. There are many breakfast menu options and are served until 5pm and the eggs and pancakes are the best I’ve had in Okinawa. The pineapple chicken with fried rice was very good for my first lunch visit. The atmosphere is mostly an Italian theme with a little bit of a American country. The time waiting for food to arrive has been about 15 minutes, each time I’ve visited. The place can be very crowded for breakfast and at peak lunch hours. Definitely worth a visit.
Ignored my wife and I but they were always going to service the locals first. Sometimes just left our dirty plates there and ignored it. Didn't even give me my Italian soda that I ordered. Alright food though
American style breakfast in a cute English tea type of restaurant. They take dollar, yen and card. Parking is tricky and maybe 10spots. Hollandaise sauce was not good, the steak and eggs were better. French toast was dry. Plus side all you can drink coffee.
Beautiful home feel, great food.
friendly staff and delicious food It‘s one of my fav restaurants.
The food was great. The atmosphere was nice and parking is tight. I feel like the furniture and a lot of the decor was extremely dated. The table cloths and chairs especially. The service was slow, when you have unlimited refills and the wait staff waits until the end of your meal to get to you...it's kinda a bummer. But again the food was great.
My friends and I visited for lunch last for a birthday. The 4 of us arrived @1130 and were seated immediately. We had a large selection of food to choose from which is nice for some, but I struggle with too many choices lol. I finally decided on the Mexican omelet with peppers, onion, and ham. The inlet was huge and filled with a large amount of veggies/ham, but my eggs were a little too easy for my liking. My crispy bacon was super thin strips that looked like jerky when delivered too. Our server was very busy by himself it appeared as well. We waited several minutes for drink Refills, condiments, etc. I've heard great things about this restaurant so I was somewhat dissatisfied. Weekends are always packed so we will if I visit again.
